Recently people have complimented that my skin is in such good condition. The situation was not like this a year ago when I suffered from acne which started my obsession with Korean and Asian beauty products to get rid of it and the scars. I can only say thank you to Korean beauty products and regular skincare routine which I follow on a regular basis. One important factor is also great cleansing products which don't irritate skin but still clean the skin effectively. The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil is my current favorite deep-cleansing product!
What does it do?
It is rich-textured cleansing oil which is the best for normal to dry skin, not recommend for sensitive skin type. It removes heavy makeup and impurities from skin. It should brighten the skin and leave it clean and fresh. The main ingredient rice extract is amazing for skin because it nourishes and moisturizes well. This product is for the first step of Korean skincare routine! One bottle contains 150 ml and it comes with a pump dispenser. It doesn't contain mineral oil which is a good thing!
This cleansing oil is formulated with rice extract, rice bran oil and kukui seed oil. The rice extract brightens the skin and keeps it supple due to cell regeneration. The bran oil has anti-inflammatory properties and also moisturizes the skin. Kukui seed oil helps the skin to heal so no wonder this miracle cleansing oil makes the skin beautiful while removing the makeup. Jojoba seed oil fights against skin problems so sounds a nice cocktail for skin!
Experience
The cleansing oil with quite neutral scent is very light and watery, not thick at all. The texture is a bit sticky which makes it better for removing makeup. It works well for removing the makeup but you should avoid the contact with eyes which is a small minus because I usually like to remove all my makeup with only one product. However, for removing the foundation or dirt it works perfectly! As every oil cleanser, it naturally leaves the skin oily so I recommend to use a foam cleanser afterwards. The pump dispenser is easy to use and you can lock the lid with a small plastic piece. While applying, I find it better to be careful with clothes because it seems to splash easily (already messed up mine) One bottle lasts quite long, at least for 5-6 months in everyday use. The product is great and I love the fact that it cleanses the skin while nourishing it at the same time.
