Lush Surprise

We all know Lush - the store full of scents when we pass by. As a not big surprise, Lush is also super popular in Korea. I barely find an area without Lush! Today I want to introduce a surprise box I got as a present.

The box was cute and colorful like Lush products in general. When I opened it I didn't know what to expect. What was inside there?

I got a blue "Whoosh Shower jelly" and a "Herbalism Face and Body cleanser". Both include 100% vegetarian ingredients and like other Lush products they are not tested on animals. In addition to that, they are handmade in Lush "kitchens". It's better to keep the products inside the fridge because of the fresh ingredients — they maintain good only a couple of months.

Shower jelly is made with softening seaweed gel, essential oils and fruits extracts. It has a scent of citrus and the texture is thick jelly. The color resembles of bright blue seawater with glitter. Because of the texture you are supposed to take the whole jelly from the box while using it. It's not like  typical shower gel and you don't need a big amount to rub your skin.

It's a great product for washing your skin. The body feels fresh and clean and last but not least smells amazing!

Herbalism Face and Body cleanser looked like a green muffin inside the cup. It is said to be good for oily and troubled skin which is actually my skin type. The product includes rosemary, nettle and chamomile, kaolin clay and rice bran which should reduce oiliness and make the skin look clean and beautiful.

To use this product I needed only very small amount of it. I mixed it with some water and massaged gently on my hands. I tried the product on the back of my hand. The result was incredible and I instantly I saw the difference — my skin looked super smooth for the first time in years! I can't wait to see the results after using it on a regular basis.

Overall both products were super nice and I need to admit that I fell in love with them. It feels great to start a day by taking a shower with natural Lush products!
